Ananya Sahoo
Jasmine Nie is currently a senior at Issaquah High School and with four                                                                                                                          years  of involvement in DECA, serves as the Vice President of the                                                                                                                                 Issaquah Chapter. She is a  bilingual  Chinese-American, has participated in                                                                                                                 the Seattle to Portland cycling event for five years, and  aspires to learn                                                                                                                        something new every day! Through DECA, Jasmine has  had numerous                                                                                                                          opportunities to learn, travel, and network. Being on the West Coast all her                                                                                                              life, DECA  took  her to  explore Atlanta and Florida! She thinks DECA is the                                                                                                                   most gratifying part of  her  high school career,  and therefore encourages all                                                                                                                 DECA members to invest time into this   organization. Her favorite event                                                                                                                      and  memory from DECA is completing the Community  Service Project                                                                                                                         with Athletes for Kids  in the 2018-2019 school year, where she  combined                                                                                                                   her business knowledge with her community- oriented passions to make                                                                                                                    an impact. In addition to enhancing the dynamic of the chapter through                                                                                                                       activities and opportunities, Jasmine’s goal as Vice President is to                                                                                                                                   encourage more members to take on leadership positions and pursue                                                                                                                                                                   projects that they are passionate in

Christopher Leu is a senior, with this being his 3rd year in DECA. He’s currently surviving 12th grade with the help of food, friends, and the gym. His favorite DECA memory is his 2018 ICDC trip to Atlanta, where there was no limit to the energy and laughter that thrived alongside the competition. He hopes to hype up the DECA Store, increase its profit and efficiency, and looks forward to creating ties with the other club members and working with them to make DECA something they will always remember.

Director of Public Relations
Anna Olsen, the Director of Public Relations for Issaquah DECA, is a senior participating in her second year of DECA. An interesting fact about Anna is that she played soccer for 14 years, 7 of which on a premier club, Issaquah Gunners. When she is not working with DECA, Anna participates in theatre/ acting. You may have seen her in previous shows at Issaquah High School such as “A Midsummer Nights Dream” or currently “Clue The Play”. Anna’s favorite DECA memory is when she got dinner in the nearly empty Bellevue Square Mall during SCDC while spending time with people she otherwise may have never spoken to. This year as the Director of Public Relations, Anna hopes to bridge the gap between the board and general DECA members. She hopes for members to feel fully comfortable talking to the board about anything whether it be regarding suggestions or general questions.

He has played soccer for almost all his life and also enjoys watching scary movies with his father. His favorite memory in DECA is coming in third place at area and doing a cringy fortnite dance on stage, where his girlfriend beat him by coming in second place. His goal is to help diversify the chapter of Issaquah by bringing more people than previous years to the clubs and competitions. Also, hopes to communicate the board's mission of wanting to become the best chapter in the state. He hopes to challenge and break down the stereotypes of DECA, by showing how anyone with a competitive mindset can achieve the highest forms of success.

She had an amazing time meeting new people, perfecting her presentation, and spending time in a brand new city with some of her closest friends.
