Jasmine Nie is currently a senior at Issaquah High School and with four years of involvement in DECA, serves as the Vice President of the Issaquah Chapter. She is a bilingual Chinese-American, has participated in the Seattle to Portland cycling event for five years, and aspires to learn something new every day! Christopher Leu is a senior, with this being his 3rd year in DECA. He’s currently surviving 12th grade with the help of food, friends, and the gym. His favorite DECA memory is his 2018 ICDC trip to Atlanta, where there was no limit to the energy and laughter that thrived alongside the competition. He hopes to hype up the DECA Store, increase its profit and efficiency, and looks forward to creating ties with the other club members and working with them to make DECA something they will always remember.

Anna Olsen, the Director of Public Relations for Issaquah DECA, is a senior participating in her second year of DECA. An interesting fact about Anna is that she played soccer for 14 years, 7 of which on a premier club, Issaquah Gunners. When she is not working with DECA, Anna participates in theatre/ acting. You may have seen her in previous shows at Issaquah High School such as “A Midsummer Nights Dream” or currently “Clue The Play”. Anna’s favorite DECA memory is when she got dinner in the nearly empty Bellevue Square Mall during SCDC while spending time with people she otherwise may have never spoken to. This year as the Director of Public Relations, Anna hopes to bridge the gap between the board and general DECA members. She hopes for members to feel fully comfortable talking to the board about anything whether it be regarding suggestions or general questions.
