Hello fabulous students!
The best thing you can do to prepare for DECA competitive events is to go to Mentor Nights, Role Play Nights, and Mock Competitions. Each of these events is in the evening, and you will come in to practice your Role Play or get advice on your 30-pager. The Mentors who volunteer their time are all fantastic help for you.
Each of these runs from 6pm to 9pm, but students only come for a 30-60 minute time slot each.
Last year, everyone who made it to ICDC went to at least 2 of these, and most of them went to all of them. Please make it a priority. It is essentially the "practice" of our sport. :)

If you wanted to compete in Virtual Business Challenge DECA events (the computer simulator based ones), you need to sign up by Friday. The competition starts on Monday.

In order to qualify for the ICDC, all high school DECA teams must make their first trades by 4PM ET, October 17, 2016.
Registration for VBC Events (the computer simulators) begins today! The first round of the event starts on 10/24, so you have a week to register (and then I have to approve your team). Sign up today!

3) Fill in your contact information and click on the events you want to compete in
You can work with teams, so make sure everyone signs up!

Once you have logged in, go to the Stock Simulator.
Under "Public Games," find the line that says "See More Games."
In the keyword search, search for "Issaquah."
The game is called "Issaquah DECA 2017"
The Password is "future"
